Paula Bennett an ex-solo mum once in receipt of the Solo Mum’s benefit and who took state support via various training schemes who has of late been in the news with various strange and negative events that appear to have been pay-back to those who gave her a hard time.

A little while back she made public the confidential information about two young women who disagreed with her. Her latest leaking of possible police charges against a Iwi employee working with the homeless in Auckland is but the latest of what appears to be a deliberate leak to the media. If it wasn’t deliberate then it was bloody stupid!

These arrogant egotistical tantrums by Key’s pet blood-hound Bennett has led to the Prime Minister moving into damage control mode and publicly toss Paula Bennett under the nearest moving bus by publicly stating ‘That she was wrong to discuss this issue with her staff…” Key lacked the actual guts to admit that Bennett actually leaked the info to the media. So it’s obvious that Key needs some official coaching in spine enhancement tactics. Perhaps he should have a chat with Donald Trump; he is all snake spine and no brain.

It was in this framework that ex-national party employee Hooton, who saw the absolute crushing of National under Bill English [20% of the vote] attempt to justify the behaviour of Paula Bennett. After hearing the interview above, you decide how well or otherwise you think he succeeded.

Now, at this point it could be assumed that maybe the wheels are falling off the Nat’s spin machine, Paula Bennett is mincemeat and has stopped kissing babies, Crusher Collins is still recovering from her Chinese Milk powder failed salesmanship exercise, Steven Joyce is still reeling from his huge cock ups in the computer / salary package repair deals, Jerry Brownlee still can’t see his feet, Bill English believes in the tooth fairy, Hekia Parata has fallen out of favour with State schools and in love with Charter schools especially those that fail to achieve agreed standards. All of these outstanding failures are led by the infamous pony tail attacker and father of NZ’s latest celebrity teenager Max and unknown naked model artist Paris based Stephanie.

Yes poor old Mathew Hooton, along with egotistical Mike Hosking and spooky TV 3 flop Paul Henry will all need to pull out all stops to defend what appears to be a crumbling bunch of over rated Hollywood style cardboard replica images.  

Two events that should shock the world.

1. Torture US style. 

Yes it is true, it can take many years’ even decades to get to the truth, to get justice for those persecuted, tortured etc.

It took the second world war to bring the Nazi criminals to justice, Israel spent years locating and bringing to justice one way or another those who had tortured and murdered Jews and others on a massive scale.

If you consider they were correct to do so…then you must also feel that others who ignore the law and officially sanctioned torture, murder and selective political assignation should also be made to pay the price.

If you do then you must be pleased that at last there are US citizens brave enough to stand up and report on the clear evidence that the US has conducted mass torture on innocent so-called prisoners of war [POW’s] and just plain innocent people.

We must not forget that GW Bush led the reintroduction of torture by the US on an official scale…I’ve no doubt they did it anyway…but he formalised the behaviour…he was without doubt an secret admirer of the Nazi organisations such as the GESTAPO etc.

What is ironic to me is the absolute hypocrisy of calling Iraqi reaction to being attacked [Invasion of Iraq etc.] ‘Islamic terrorism’, while at the same ignoring and supporting Israeli and Christian backed attacks as individuals nut cases acting insanely…can Israel be considered a nut case?

MP Jo Cox murdered by Christian NAZI racist terrorist.

We have just learned that a British Labour MP Jo Cox was gunned down by a right-winger Thomas Mair.  The president of the Southern Poverty Law Center has revealed that Mair is a longtime supporter of the neo-Nazi National Alliance. He notes Mair’s attack comes on the first anniversary of when self-declared white supremacist Dylann Roof murdered nine people in the historic Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

Jo Cox MP died last Thursday when she was stabbed and shot in her district. Jo Cox was a 41-year-old mother of two who worked at Oxfam before being elected as a Labour MP last year. She was known for her passionate support for Syrian refugees and was a member of Labour Friends of Palestine. Her death comes just a week before the major Brexit vote -- when British voters will decide whether the country should stay in the European Union. Cox was a vocal advocate for Britain to stay in the EU. During the attack, eyewitnesses said, her assassin, Thomas Mair, shouted "Britain first" – as he stabbed Jo Cox in his gutless and cowardly attack. Consultation in Horowhenua a NO NO

Is Horowhenua a region with water to spare?

Is it a District Council massively in debt and with exploding staff numbers? Answer YES.

Does it have a deaf and dumb Mayor who cancels Annual Plan discussions, and who is a good mate to the local [possibly] illegal police sponsored rowing club which is illegally based at Lake Horowhenua? Answer YES.

And for reasons best kept secret a council which out of the blue and without explanation wreaks havoc on its local public library by destroying the very effective delivery system enjoyed by thousands of users. Answer YES.

This slash and burn was done without consultation, but naturally this is considered OK as consultation is not a big thing in Horowhenua District Council area…at least as far as deaf and dumb Mayor Duffy and his CEO are concerned. Without doubt Rosalie Blake as the head of the Friends of the Library must be fuming.

She said the facility still depends on volunteer help.

No thinking person can figure out the reason why he has done such a stupid thing, unless the cracks in the basement of the new civic building which according to a letter below are causing more problems than simply leaking floors. In regard to staff this has been increased to 145 – from 60 in 2004.

Check out this letter I received from a Levin resident:

“I have heard that there is a natural spring under the Horowhenua District Council building in Levin which was covered over with concrete. The basement is continually flooding and a pump is running constantly to pump the water out. I have a much better idea for the use of the water. I believe it could be offered to the people of Levin as is done in Lower Hutt and Petone which have natural aquifers. People queue up outside the Dowse Art Gallery in Lower Hutt and at a specific place (just off Petone’s main street) to fill their own containers with water. I believe this would mitigate some of the bad feeling about the poor quality tap water provided to residents in the Horowhenua. Another idea is to make the spring a natural feature in the council building itself. Perhaps turn it into a fountain or even a wishing well. People could throw a coin in and make a wish. Their wishes have more chance of being fulfilled than under the current management of the HDC”.

Off course the Horowhenua District Council is not the only council in financial trouble, although it is or was the second most indebted council in the country back in 2014. Horowhenua along with the bulk of NZ’s population has become little more than urban middle class refugees along with masses of working class poor exploited by both government and local government politicians. Here in the Horowhenua DC the Mayor and Councillors have just granted themselves a wage increase, which sees the Mayors salary, go beyond one hundred thousand dollars…One Hundred thousand bucks for a Mayor of a town the size of Levin…please tell me they are joking…

Well Local Government elections are just around the corner and I hope Horowhenua citizens can find an alternative candidate for Mayor and get behind him or her to toss out once and for all the present unpopular and undemocratic incumbent who seems to be blind to the hardship being faced by the thousands of people who live in his region who have to pay for their education and having done so, can’t find work and finish up with a massive debt…so much for the brighter future…under Duffy.   

The Public Relations spin from the CEO of the HDC is published below, it follows the usual trend of aiming for savings yet gives no real indication of how this will be achieved…this is normal practice for outfits which avoid consultation. It should be noted that the Trust was only given one months’ notice of getting the chop…It’s easy to see why those involved in running the trust and the library feel aggrieved by this dictatorial behaviour. Still this normal behaviour by the Mayor who is in fact the CEO’s boss, maybe that’s simply wishful thinking on my part.

Once I had a connection to Horowhenua, my brother once owned a Butchers shop and later a Pub in Levin, My mother-in-law lived in Levin for many years…I think Levin has the makings of something good, but it needs progressive leadership and a unbiased operational police force that seeks to enforce community laws that assist communities to grow and develop meaningful relationships. It needs a police force that shows by its actual behaviour that it works for the whole region rather than the Mayor and his weird cronies.

Bennett and Smith frighten hell out of the poor! It’s really weird they are offering up to five thousand bucks to leave Auckland…yet on the other had are offering three thousand bucks to go to Auckland…The question is can people take the two thousand dollar difference and simply stay in Auckland?

False statements by the government this week have jeopardised the Salvation Army's ability to work with the homeless, the organisation says.

It said the government's claims that Ministry of Social Development (MSD) staff accompanied Salvation Army staff to visit homeless people in a South Auckland park were incorrect. Yesterday Prime Minister John Key was talking about the "flying squad", dispatched earlier this week by the government to help the homeless, and gauge the level of the problem. "On I think Tuesday or Wednesday night MSD and the Sallies went around and knocked on I think eight cars that they could find, all eight of those people refused to take support either from Sallies or from MSD."

Key caught telling porkies yet again...He makes Donald Trump look trustworthy.

However, the Salvation Army said that was not true.

Divisional commander Ian Hutson said it declined an offer by MSD officials to accompany them, as many of the people there had a deep distrust of government officials.

The Salvation Army had been working with the people in the park for four weeks building trust, he said.

"I guess the main issue here for us is re-establishing the fact that we were concerned that we would lose some of that relationship with statements like this, that it will impair the way we will be able to help the people there," Mr Hutson said.

Speaking to Checkpoint, Mr Hutson said he believed there had been some kind of miscommunication.

"We've been carefully developing relationships with people there... gaining their trust."

He said while MSD had asked the Salvation Army if they wanted to participate, they preferred working the way they were.

"That's not how we do things, we weren't involved in it.

"[The homeless are] not always confident working with bureaucracy, maybe even had some things in the past... where they haven't had a good experience or something, that's one of the main reasons why we didn't really want to go at it that way."

John Kukutai works at the Kohanga Reo at the Te Puea marae, and has been delivering food to homeless people and families living in their cars in Auckland parks.

He said government officials don't know how to approach people and make them feel comfortable so they will accept help.

Mr Hutson said people had said that they didn't want help, but he didn't believe they wanted to live in a car.

"Sometimes it's just how you go about it, what kind of help they want."

Labour leader Andrew Little, said Mr Key needed to explain why he misled the public.

It was clear Mr Key had put the Salvation Army's working relationship with desperate families at risk, he said.

Key and Bennett the ideal couple.

"If the Salvation Army is now saying that it's compromising their work, that's pretty disturbing because we need folks like the Sallies and the Auckland City Mission and anybody else out there helping these folks until the government gets their act together to help them," Mr Little. said.

Green Party co-leader James Shaw called on Mr Key to apologise.

"He went out of his way to try to make these homeless people look bad by saying they declined government help - the Salvation Army has said that that's simply not true," Mr Shaw said.

"The prime minister owes those people, the Salvation Army and all New Zealanders an apology."

The prime minister's office has issued a statement saying his comments were based on advice given to him.

For how much longer will our main stream media fail to report on the absolutely false and lie ridden press releases pumped out by the PM’s Office… Has publishing lies now become the norm…are all our journalists now sunken to the level of TV Ones Seven Sharp idiots and brainless Paul Henry of TV 3 notoriety.
